Snake poison?

 Is there any medicinal plant used to cure snake poison? Is that proved scientifically?Many medicinal plants books and other literature gives information about medicinal plants that are used as antidote for snake poison but none has been proved scientifically. i want to know, is there any plant which will help to cure snake bite poison or antidote for the snake bite and must have been proved experimentally or scientifically

Sarpgandha(serpentina) is an important medicinal plant  Its roots are used for the treatment of snakebite, insect nervous disorders, mania and epilepsy

Well i google it i found it out it is also useful in the treatment of hypertension and works as a sedative or tranquilizing agent

Well yes there root possess high alkaloid concentration.

Ravoulfia serpentina (Indian Snakeroot) is an important medicinal shrub plant. There are around hundred species of which five are native to India.
