Dark chocolate is high in antioxidants. Milk chocolate is high in sugar.

Ever eat kitkat ? there sugar is unhealthy A small piece of dark chocolate a day isn’t bad, but I’d venture to say that a kit kat is not good.

KitKats are not actually going to be a healthy choice, being not chocolate, but chocolate flavored sugar. you might start with a darker chocolate, over 65% cocoa and work your way up. I finally settled on a product called TCHO a 99% cocoa chocolate I found in the baking section at Whole Foods. It is the least bitter, high cocoa chocolate I’ve found. to add a sweet balance I eat it with low or no sugar dried fruit. The ingredient list for KitKats makes me shudder.

Beware that dark chocolate has more calories than milk chocolate though. So it’s healthier but also more calorific

Do you do any protein shakes? Chocolate protein, cocoa powder, and frozen cherries blended up make a really yummy chocolatey drink!
